 Summary of the February 2013 Visa Bulletin – Family-Based (F)
  • F1 Good forward movement for all chargeability areas, China and India (22 Dec 2005 to 15 Jan 2006). A week of forward movement for Mexico (08 Jul 1993 to 15 Jul 1993) and a significant movement for the Philippines (22 Dec 1997 to 08 Mar 1998).
  • F2A Forward movement for all chargeability areas, China, India and Philippines (22 Sep 2010 to 22 Oct 2010). Good forward movement for Mexico as well (01 Sept 2010 to 08 Oct 2010).
  • F2B A positive movement for all chargeability areas, China and India (08 Dec 2004 to 15 Jan 2005). Forward movement for Mexico (22 Nov 1992 to 15 Dec 1992) and the Philippines (12 Apr 2002 to 15 May 2002).
  • F3 Again, forward movement for all chargeability areas, China and India (22 Jun 2002 to 08 Jul 2002). There was no movement for Mexico but a slight forward movement for the Philippines (08 Aug 1992 to 22 Aug 1992).
  • F4 Slight movement for all chargeability areas, China and India (08 Apr 2001 to 15 Apr 2001), two weeks leap for Mexico (22 Jul 1996 to 01 Aug 1996) and significant movement for the Philippines (15 Apr 1989 to 01 Jun 1989).

Summary of the December 2012 Visa Bulletin – Employment-Based (EB)
  • EB1 remains current for all chargeability areas including China, India, Mexico and the Philippines.
  • EB2 are all current for all chargeability areas, Mexico and Philippines. For EB2 China, there will be a slight forward movement (08 Nov 2002 to 15 Nov 2002) while India remains unchanged at September 1, 2004.
  • Good news for EB3 applicants as all areas of chargeability show forward movement from 01 Feb 2007 to 15 Mar 2007. Mexico moves from 01 Feb 2007 to 15 Mar 2007. Philippines moves forward by only one (1) week from 15 Aug 2006 to 22 Aug 2006, China moves forward from 22 Sep 2006 to 15 Nov 2006, while India moves forward by only one (1) week from 08 Nov 2002 to 15 Nov 2002.
  • The “other worker” category moves forward for all chargeability areas from 01 Feb 2007 to 15 Mar 2007. There was no movement for China 01 Jul 2003. There will be a week forward movement for India (08 Nov 2002 to 15 Nov 2002) and the Philippines (15 Aug 2006 to 22 Aug 2006). A forward movement for Mexico from 01 Feb 2007 to 15 Mar 2007.
  • EB4 and EB5 categories remain current and available for all chargeability areas including China, India, Mexico, and Philippines.
  • Certain Religious Workers preference is current for all areas of chargeability.
